Arrive & Drive

£25 (National) / £20 (Club) for 15 minutes

Whether you're trying karting for the first time or want to get some extra track time before your next big race, our Arrive and Drive sessions are the perfect solution. We run these sessions around other events on the kart track so please call the kart centre direct on 01264 882231 or 01264 771988 for up-to-date availability.

Our arrive & drive sessions start from just £20 for a 15 minute session on the Club Circuit (adults & juniors) or £25 for a 15 minute session on the National Circuit (adults only). Arrive and drive is also available for juniors - see our junior page for more information.

Super Prix

£55 (Weekdays), £62 (Weekends)

Grand Prix racing is one of the most exciting forms of Motorsport. Imagine racing wheel to wheel with your friends or colleagues, sat only inches off the ground in 60mph racing karts, four abreast into the first corner - this is the closest thing you'll get to racing without a licence. Compete as individuals or groups in our Super Prix events using 390cc race chassis Thunderkarts. Our Super Prix events are designed for both large and small groups.

Grand Prix

£69 (Weekdays), £82 (Weekends)

Plenty of track time, ultra competitive and thoroughly rewarding, our Grand Prix events are one of the most popular formats we run. The practice session gives enough time to learn the circuit in preparation for the first round of heats. Heading up to the first corner four abreast approaching 50mph, this is proper racing! If you don't do well the first time then there's always another heat to make up some places. Then a final awaits (all drivers will drive in a Final), the top three receive trophies and the winner receives that all important champagne.

A minimum of fifteen payments is required for exclusivity. Suitable for large or small groups. Groups over fifteen are split into two, and run with a slightly different format:

• 8 minute practice for group 1
• 8 minute practice for group 2
• Group 1 heat 1 - 8 laps
• Group 2 heat 1 - 8 laps
• Group 1 heat 2 - 8 laps
• Group 2 heat 2 - 8 laps

Points are scored in all the heats to decide who drives in which final - note that all drivers take part in a final.

Race Night

From £50 per person

The same format as our Super Prix events held every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. This is perfect for a hassle-free karting event. To book please call 01264 882231 or 01264 771988.

Mini Endurance

£140 per team

Le Mans, Sepang, Daytona, Bathurst, all legendary endurance races. It's the true test of a driver's ability; one kart, one circuit and no mistakes. Using our race chassis Thunderkarts, Endurance races can be in teams or as individuals. Strategy plays a major part of the race, driver changes, fuel stops, driver order. The winner is the individual or team who has completed the most laps within the race duration.

If Grand Prix racing's not your thing then Endurance racing offers a different set of challenges. Our Mini Endurance is suitable for two-man teams ensuring lots of track time. To book, please call 01264 882231. A minimum of 10 teams are required for exclusivity.

Team Endurance

£230 per team

Using our race chassis Thunderkarts, Endurance races can be in teams or as individuals. Strategy plays a major part of the race, driver changes, fuel stops, driver order. The winner is the individual or team who has completed the most laps within the race duration.

One weekend in every month we hold a Team Endurance race. These are hotly contested and prizes are given for every race. Using our 60mph Thunderkarts all you have to worry about is your race strategy. Suitable for teams of up to four or five drivers, enter as many teams as you like. Please call 01264 882231 to book. A maximum of 18 teams can take part in our team endurance races.

Junior Karting

It's not just adults that can have all the fun! With our brand new Club Circuit, children 8 years and older can experience what real motorsport is like. We have a number of formats and packages available for juniors, please see our Juniors Page for more details on these.

Exclusive Events

Whether you just want to bring a few important customers along for a low key meeting or a no expenses spared staff day out, we can run any format event you require. We can also tailor our packages to suit, so if you don't see the exact format event you require here then please do not hesitate to contact us. We fully understand that numbers, budget and times change and we're fully equipped to deal with your requirements.

Karting Tuition

£70 for a 1 hour session

Thinking of taking up kart racing? Fancy improving your karting skills? Our karting tuition may be just the thing for you. One of our instructors will teach you about racing technique, including what lines to take on the circuit, when to brake etc.

Sessions run over a one hour period. In this time, you'll be given a full briefing (which goes into a lot more technical detail than our standard briefing), have a walk-round of the track, the karts and the pit lane area. On to the track - you start off following the instructor, then the instructor will follow you watching your progress and finding ways in which you can improve your technique. Once all this is done, you'll be sent out to complete some timed laps, with a full debriefing to conclude the session. Lap record sheets will be available.

Looking for something different for a present for a petrol-head? Or maybe just something a little different for a friend? Thruxton Kart Centre gift vouchers make the ideal present and are available starting from £15. The lucky recipient can use the voucher to pay or part pay for any event at Thruxton Kart Centre.

Individual Endurance

If you're up for a challenge, then our Individual Endurance races may suit you. With just under an hour's track time, these races are a true test of endurance, but great fun to participate in. Karting Licence - ARKS Test

Full Test From £90.00

Only the serious racers need apply - if you're looking to take karting to the next level and race competitively you'll need you ARKS licence. As an ARKS member we're fully equipped for you to take your test with us.
